Cash Mob EARTHLY POSSESSIONS – Feb 2nd!!

The next CASH MOB will be…

  • LOCATION: EARTHLY POSSESSIONS, 70 Seneca Street
  • DATE: Saturday, February 2nd
  • TIME: 11 am – 1 pm

Tucked in next to Area Records, Earthly Possessions is a Geneva gem. Maintaining one of the smallest downtown storefronts, Earthly Possessions is packed full of wonderful and quirky girl-themed gifts — from handmade bags and jewelry to unique trinkets and treasures. It’s like having a lit bit of Etsy.com in your backyard! What better place to get your Valentine’s Day shopping done? Gift certificates are available. Come on out and support one of Geneva’s few one-woman owned and operated businesses!

What is a CASH MOB? When a group of people assemble at a local business and buy items to support that business and the overall community.

Madia’s says “THANKS!”

The good folks at Madia’s send their thanks to everyone who made it out to the cash mob last Saturday. Madia’s was very excited about the event — and were even distributing cookies and juice to show their love for Geneva. They report that this is typically a slow time for them, but the cash mob turned a usually bad day into a good one. So thanks to everyone who braved the cold and came out. Maybe in two weeks time the weather will be a little warmer. Either way, we’ve got the next cash mob scheduled for Saturday, February 2nd!

Until then, start getting excited for the very first GENEVA NIGHT OUT — a monthly art crawl held in Geneva on the first Friday of each month from 5 – 8 pm. We’re a proud sponsor and can’t wait to see to everyone out and about on February 1st for the very first GENEVA NIGHT OUT!

Next Cash Mob — MADIA’S!!!

The first Love Geneva CASH MOB for 2013 is…

What is a CASH MOB? When a group of people assemble at a local business and buy items to support that business and the overall community.

Madia’s is a Geneva institution, the last locally-owned full-service grocery store in the area. We couldn’t think of a better location for the first CASH MOB of 2013 (don’t worry, downtown! We’ll be returning soon enough). So come on down this Saturday, Jan. 19th between 11 am – 1 pm. Visit the best butcher shop in town, pick up some groceries, enjoy one of the last neighborhood grocery stores in the region, and spread some Geneva love! See you there!!!
